Notes: Fingering weight yarn can be used for this pattern with a size US 2 needle.

Cable cast on: cast on two stitches, then take your right needle and place it in between the two stitches on the left hand needle, next wrap the yarn around the right hand needle as if to make a knit stitch and pull the loop back through and place it onto the left hand needle. Continue making stitches in the manner between the previous two stitches until you have as many stitches as needed. Cable Cast Off: Knit two stitches, slip the first knitted stitch over the second knitted stitch, then using your left needle twist the stitch coming from the front of the stitch and place on the left hand needle as you twist. Next, using your right hand needle, come from the back of the stitch, twist the stitch again placing it back onto the right hand needle. Knit another stitch and repeat. Knitting with beads - Knit the stitch and place on the right hand needle, then take the crochet hook and place the bead on the crochet hook. Remove the stitch that you just knitted and place it on the crochet hook. Next slide the bead down the shaft of the crochet hook and onto the stitch. Then place the stitch back onto the right hand needle.
