Knotted Openwork Stitch Baby Blanket
I am a pretty tight knitter, hence my gauge! Use a yarn/needle combination to achieve the gauge. I cast on 136 stitches: 8 at each edge for a border of seed stitch plus 120 for the lace. I worked 10 rows of seed stitch at the bottom and top for the border. I finished the lace on a Row 3. If you end the lace on rows 1 or 3, begin the top seed stitch border on row 2 of your seed stitch and if you end the lace on rows 2 or 4 begin the seed stitch on row 1. My blanket measures approx 65cm w x 80cm h.
