I first made this ear warmer using Red Heart Fashion Soft yarn and loved how it turned out. Then I tried it using some Red Heart With Love yarn I had in similar colours. I like them both for different reasons.

The fashion soft yarn has a beautiful sheen and is much thinner than the with love yarn. It is a great option for taking a walk on a cool fall evening.

The with love yarn is much thicker and is a great addition for a colder day.

You could use any 3 or 4 weight yarn, just be sure to check your gauge. The pattern can be increased or decreased in multiples of six for larger or smaller sizes.
