I improvised this scarf 6 years ago and I have had people asking about the pattern I used for knitting it. I decided to make a pattern for it and while I was writing it down I thought it would be fun to make it more universal and include two versions of the scarf - a single yarn colour pattern and a multiple yarn (striped) pattern.

I do not give any specific yarn choices as you can use whatever yarn you like.
The same applies to the size (the number of COed sts and rows knit) - make it as wide and long as you like.

I wanted to give a set of numbers for the COed stitches but my kid, who loves math, said that there are a lot of people who would find my way of designing and figuring out the FO’s sizes fun and would want to count their scarf dimensions themselves, and I decided to leave it the way it is now.

Шарф по данной схеме я связала примерно 6 лет назад.
Первый шарф был связан из однотонной пряжи и я решила его повторить еще раз, но уже полосатым.
Из-за этого в данном описании есть две схемы - одна для однотонной версии, вторая - для полосатой. Они обе находятся в одном файле, скачать нужно один PDF.
В описании я даю цепочку вычислений ширины шарфа для тех, кто любит свою математику, а так же стандартную формулу для расчета петель.

Шарф может быть связан из пряжи любой толщины - он может быть как теплым зимним, так и легким ажурным для весны-лета.
