This beginner-intermediate crochet koala pattern is quick and easy. This sweet design is a tribute to little Lewis, one of the koalas that was rescued in the Australian bushfires. Sadly, little Lewis’ injuries were just too much and he passed away about a week after his rescue.

Lewis is made using two strands of worsted weight yarn together. He’s the perfect gift for anyone that loves animals and will make a thoughtful addition to any gift. He also sits nicely on a shelf, or among pillows on a child’s bed.

Materials Needed

• worsted weight yarn in dark grey, light grey and black
• Crochet hooks size 4.00 and 5.00 mm
• Embroidery needle
• Fiber Fill
