Notes:
This would be considered an intermediate skill level pattern. It is made entirely by single crochet, but you must have a clear understanding of single crochet increase/decrease.

Materials:
You will need yarn, 3.50 mm crochet hook, stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, 18.00 mm safety eyes, and poly-fill for stuffing.

Let’s talk about yarn!
You need to use #4 worsted weight yarn for this project! You will need 150 yards of gray yarn. I used Big Twist Value yarn! You will also need 20 yards of green yarn for the eucalyptus stick. I used the green portion of Red Heart Super Saver Retro Stripes. Feel free to use any color or brand of yarn as long as it is #4 worsted weight yarn.

Final Measurement:
Your finished koala will be around 8 inches tall.

Gauge:
Gauge is not extremely important for this pattern. You just want your stitches to be tight enough that poly-fill won’t poke out!

Other Important Information:
This koala is made in the ragdoll style. This means you will be making two different panels and then single crocheting them together to create your finished project!

Abbreviations:
-Ch: chain
-Sl st: slip stitch
-Sc: single crochet
-Inc: increase
-Dec: decrease
-Dc: double crochet
