Amigurumi koala’s size ~ 5,7 inches (14,5 cm) high and 2,8 inches (7 cm) ring’s diameter, using the materials described.
MATERIALS:
1. Yarns for crocheting (Weight category 2: Fine, Type Sport, 5 ply, 12 wpi):
I used:
Alize Cotton Gold (55% cotton + 45% acrylic; 3,53 oz / 100 g; 361 yards / 330 m) color 200 grey (main color for head, ears, ring circumference);
Yarn Art Jeans (55% cotton + 45% acrylic; 1,76 oz / 50 g; 175 yards / 160 m) color 53 black (nose);
Gazzal Baby Cotton (60% cotton + 40% acrylic; 1,76 oz / 50 g; 175 yards / 165 m) color 3447 ocher (ears), 3426 turquoise or 3412 pink (collar);
- Thin black yarn for embroidery eyes, pink (or other color) for cheeks (optional). I use Yarn Art Iris (100% cotton; 0,7 oz / 151 yards / 138 m / 20 g) color 935 black, 915 pink. You can use the yarn for embroidery or sewing or other suitable yarn;
- Stuffing materials (I use hollow fiber);
- Scissors;
- Needles for sewing (blunt end, metal or plastic);
- Needles for pinning details;
- Crochet hook (I use 2 mm size, size B to USA classification);
- Plastic rattle;
- Wooden teething ring (I use ring with diameter 2,75 inches/7cm).
