Koala Tea Cosy
I made this one twice in different poses – I designed him so that he could be made to sit in a variety of ways to look like a real koala.
(I really dislike that “cruciform koala” look!)
He’s very cute and would make a great gift!
He takes about 135 gms of 8 ply yarn (used double), plus 10 gms of something fluffy/furry for the ears.
This pattern makes a tea cosy to fit a teapot approx 15 cms high and 46 cm around the widest part.
The Australian bushfire fundraising campaign, for aiding affected wildlife, has now ended.
In total, the 6 patterns involved raised AU$1,610 – a fantastic result!
Thank you to everyone who contributed by purchasing a pattern.❤️
