Kobe Cardigan
Kobe Cardigan is a light and soft cardigan with balloon sleeves. It is assembly free and is knitted top down. The top part of the back piece is knitted before stitches are picked up from both sides to create the shoulder and neckline. Eventually the stitches from the front and back pieces are joined together on the same needles, and the rest of the body is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch. The sleeves are knitted using seed stitch, and without decreases, to create the balloon effect.
Knit a gauge swatch before starting to ensure the gauge is correct. The cardigan should have a “positive ease” of around 15-20 cm.
