On this scarf, 6 polar bears meet in the midnight sun between craggy icebergs.

I designed this special motif as a reminder to protect the Arctic habitat, so that we can enjoy the cuddly polar bears for a long time to come.

This scarf is a knitted statement for climate protection.

The tutorial consists of charts AND is written out in stitches. It is not difficult, but I would not recommend it for absolute beginners.
The scarf is knitted in one piece.

The scarf is approx. 26 x 152cm long (without fringes) if you follow the stitch gauge ( 30M and 38R = 10cm).

I have used 2 balls ( = 630m) “1-2-3 Ideas” from Pro Lana. (100g = 315m) The soft cotton has a color gradient per ball. I.e. you knit the first ball from light to dark and the second ball from dark to light. If you keep to the stitch gauge, there is still a remainder for the fringes.

Ich habe dieses besondere Motiv als Erinnerung an den Schutz des Lebensraumes Arktis entworfen, damit wir uns noch lange an den knuffigen Eisbären erfreuen können.
Dieser Schal ist ein gestricktes Statement für den Klimaschutz.

Die Anleitung besteht aus Charts UND ist maschenweise ausgeschrieben. Sie ist nicht schwierig, für absolute Anfänger würde ich sie trotzdem nicht empfehlen.

Ich habe 2 Knäuel ( = 630m) “1-2-3 Ideen” von Pro Lana verwendet. (100g = 315m) Die weiche Baumwolle hat einen Farbverlauf pro Knäuel. D.h. man strickt das erste Knäuel von hell nach dunkel und das zweite Knäuel von dunkel nach hell. Bei Einhaltung der Maschenprobe bleibt noch ein Rest für die Fransen.*
