The Tyrannosaurus Rex comes out of hiding and peers around the corner at the front of the jumper. On the back part you can see the tail of the imposing animal. A surprising eye-catcher on this knitted piece. The wool used has an interesting camouflage look and the stripes are created automatically.

The jumper is knitted from the bottom up in one piece, which means you only have to sew one side seam and the shoulders together.

You can knit the dino in or embroider it on. It will be especially beautiful if you knit it in. It’s worth the effort!

The instructions consist of charts and are NOT written out stitch by stitch.

I do not recommend it for beginners, you should have knitted intarsia before and know how to change colours and cross threads to avoid holes. This is NOT described!

Every child grows individually, so I can only give guidelines for the age. Applies when following the stitch gauge 26sts and 34rows!

Size 86-92cm approx. 1-2 years waist circumference up to 56cm
size 98-104cm approx. 2-4 years waist circumference up to 59cm
size 110-116cm approx. 4-6 years waist circumference up to 62cm
size 122-128cm approx. 6-8 years waist circumference up to 65cm
I used “Meilenweit Tinto” colour 4055 from Lana Grossa and “Seide Vielseitige” colour 913 from Ferner Wolle and knitted with 3mm needles. I knitted with a circular needle, but since you don’t knit in rounds, you can also use straight needles. You need 1 ball of each colour up to size 116cm, from size 122cm you need 2 balls of the basic colour.

Der Tyrannosaurus Rex kommt aus seiner Deckung und blickt um die Ecke auf das Vorderteil des Pullis. Auf dem Rückenteil sieht man den Schwanz des imposanten Tieres. Ein überraschender Blickfang auf diesem Strickstück. Die verwendete Wolle hat eine interessante Tarnfarbe und die Streifen entstehen automatisch.
Der Pulli wird von unten nach oben in einem Stück gestrickt, d.h. Du musst nur eine Seitennaht und die Schultern zusammen nähen.
Du kannst den Dino einstricken oder nachträglich aufsticken. Besonders schön wird es, wenn Du ihn einstrickst. Die Mühe lohnt sich!
Die Anleitung besteht aus Charts und ist NICHT maschenweise ausgeschrieben.
Ich empfehle sie nicht für Anfänger, Du solltest bereits Intarsien gestrickt haben und wissen, wie man Farben wechselt und Fäden verkreuzt, damit keine Löcher entstehen. Dies ist NICHT beschrieben!

Ich habe mit einer Rundstricknadel gestrickt, da aber nicht rund gestrickt wird, kannst Du auch Jackennadeln nehmen. Du brauchst bis Grösse 116 von jeder Farbe 1 Knäuel, ab Grösse 122 brauchst Du 2 Knäuel von der Grundfarbe.*
