Ribbing for hem and cuff―5.5mm (US 9): 60cm :{24”} or longer CIR/set of 4 DPN.

15 sts/22 rows = 10cm 4” in St st with MC, after blocking on larger needles.

2 DPN size 6.0mm (US 10){use on page 10}, cable needle, 12 markers (m); waste yarn for holders; contrasting yarn for marking; tapestry needle; approx. 3.5mm (US E) crochet hook; six 2.5cm 1” buttons.

NOTES
Kochi cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan shaping. The yoke is shaped with short rows and raglan increases to the underarms. The body and sleeves are divided and worked separately. At the start of the pocket, the fronts and the back are divided and the fronts are worked first. While working the back, the pocket bags are made and attached to the fronts at the edges of the back. The sleeves are worked circularly to the cuff. The buttonhole and button bands are worked as part of the body of the cardigan.

ノート
東風カーディガンは襟から裾に向かって編む、綴じはぎなしのラグラン袖のカーディガンです。ヨークを引き返し編みとラグラン増し目で脇下まで編んだのち、本体と袖を分け、別々に作業していきます。ポケットを開始する段で前後身頃を分けて左右前身頃を先に編み進めておきます。後ろ身頃を編む時は身頃の端でポケット袋を作って前身頃につなげながらの作業になります。袖は輪編みで袖口まで編みます。前立てとボタンホールも本体と同時進行で作っていきます。
