This pattern is fashioned after socks my father always wore when I was growing up in the north country but with a couple up dates.

These wool socks feature a fitted arch like walking socks and a secure cuff to keep them from slipping down inside your boots.

This pattern is easily adaptable to larger sizes.

• increase the cuff length to 2-1/2”
• increase leg length to 9” or desired length
• increase length of foot to desired length (length of foot minus 2 inches for toe decrease)
