Koha...a poi toi
This toy is the perfect stash buster for your fingering weight or sock yarn. With two Kohas practice the ancient performance art of poi from the Māori people of New Zealand. Koha is the Māori word for gift and this quick project is the perfect gift for the adult or teen in your life who has everything!
Using magic loop or double pointed needle construction each Koha knits up quickly and requires no seaming. The kohas are knit with two strands of sock yarn held together. To eliminate any stretch in the I-cord, knit a linen or cotton thread with the sock yarn.
A photo tutorial is included for construction techniques.
