Koi Harmony is crocheted in the normal overlay mosaic row-by-row technique.

The PDF has 4 easy-to-read charts and corresponding written instructions.

Two PDFs are available - one using US terms and one using UK terms.

You can use any yarn and corresponding hook you like for this pattern; remember a tighter tension is better for mosaic crochet.

If using Red Heart Super Saver Ombre, you will need approximately 11 skeins for the main body of the blanket (including a simple 3-row border)

5 skeins for Colour A (the background colour)
5 skeins for Colour B (the koi colour)
1 skein for a simple 3-row double border

Approx. 1400 grams total

The blanket size will be approximately 48” wide by 65” long.

You can work any width or any height, but you will of course have to increase or decrease the number of repeats.

Please note, the border shown in Jamie’s examples is her own choice of design and isn’t included in the pattern.
