This listing is for an easy-to-follow digital PDF pattern showing how to crochet a set of Koi Kittens (including instructions for Open Eyes and Closed Eyes, solid color tail, and 3-color tail), pond plant (garland), and lily pad. The following are all included!! The digital Koi Kittens pattern includes: 30 pages, 175+ full color photos, English US crochet terms, detailed descriptions and instructions. Includes BONUS #1: 7-page TEXT ONLY PDF printable file, (to be used with guidance from the full pattern on a digital device), without using a ton of printer ink!! Includes BONUS #2: Printable coloring page of designer’s original digital artwork!

If using size 1, fingering or super fine weight yarn, and a 1.75mm hook, the doll will be around 7.5” in length. If using larger yarn and hook sizes, the dolls will be larger. These dolls can be made with ANY SIZE YARN and HOOK, as long as you are consistent throughout the pattern. You will want to use a hook that provides a tight enough tension so that stuffing will not show through your stitches.

Supplies needed for this project include:
Size 1.75mm hook
Super fine weight yarn (I used Hobbii Rainbow cotton 8/4) in colors: white, gray, orange, dark gray (or black), green, pink, and brown
Stitch markers or paper clips
Tapestry needle
Fiberfill stuffing
8mm safety eyes
craft glue
Optional: stick pins / foam or styrofoam for wet blocking or stiffening
