MARLING IS a technique where two or more strands of yarn are knitted together, either in different colours or yarn types. Dario Tubiana has used this technique on his bright poncho, to create a sequence of attractive speckled stripes. It’s knitted seamlessly in the round from the top down, using a variety of shades in Rowan’s Hemp Tweed and Kidsilk Haze yarn ranges.
Poncho measures 41cm (16in) around the neck, 150cm (59in) around the hem, and 47cm (18.5in) long (excluding neck).
