Konpeito Shawl
The Konpeito Shawl is an easy, top-down, triangular shawlette, which can be made made longer by repeating sections. The spine of the shawl is a delicate cable, it is a mock cable and does not require a cable needle.
Photo tutorials for the mock cable and garter tab cast on are included.
The pattern is written, it is not charted.
The shawl is named after a brightly-colored, star-shaped candy which comes from Japan. One of my sister’s favorite movies has these candies in it, and the shawl is dedicated to her for her birthday. I hope it makes you think of as much magic as her and I have always believed in.
Special thanks to my testers:

((P.S. if you want to add a “Lorri Twist” to your shawl, add a few repeats to the first garter ridge!))
