Kooky Shawl
This shawl was inspired by my son Felix and his fun personality. His nickname is Kooky and he was asking for a while for my next pattern to be called that way. He was very happy when, early on, he found out about this shawl and kept tabs on my progress as I went along.
In a conceptual way I thought of every wedge as an aspect of his personality - I used only 2 contrasting colors but please feel free to use as many as you want! (Since that was the original idea when I thought about knitting it)
I wanted it to be a fun and easy project! One you can knit anywhere, many times and never get bored mixing and matching colors (or textures!!) to get different results. I hope you enjoy it!
I used ChileKnitz Happy Sock yarn to knit it but feel free to use whatever fingering yarn you like the most and do not be afraid to mix bold colors, if you are not happy with your choice you can always change it!! The idea is to have fun as well as to create a stylish piece!
I do recommend that you get enough yardage for it, I am afraid of running out of yarn when I am knitting something so I always get a bit more for all my projects, just in case.
