Korean Meanders Cowl
The cowls are worked bottom-up in the round, starting with some one-color stockinette, then colorwork while shaping the front, moving on to german short-rows in one color, finishing by working the collar and seaming it on the inside.
There are instructions for both cowl lengths in the pattern. However, note in the pictures that collar design also differs. The Short Cowl has a tighter collar and has its colorwork on the inside, while the Long Cowl collar is more loose-fit and has its colorwork on the outside. Any combination of collar design with cowl length is possible, but the pattern is written as shown in the pictures.
Yardage Short Cowl:
Total: 270 m / 295 yards
Main Color: 180m / 197 yards
Contrast Color: 90m / 98 yards
Yardage Long Cowl:
Total: 415 m / 454 yards
Main Color: 290 m / 317 yards
Contrast Color: 125m / 137 yards
Note about yardages: Tester yardages varied quite significantly, depending on yarn selection, however all used less yarn than stated above so if you have the amounts given you should be fine.
Testers rated pattern difficulty 6/10.
