For lovers of stripes it doesn’t get much better than this. The Korean Stripe Throw is a simple, cozy knit in stockinette stitch that makes you feel like you’re wrapped in your favourite striped sweater. The design consists of two alternate stripe patterns which are slightly offset. The beauty of it is that the change of colour happens between the stripe patterns, using simple intarsia which creates a lovely trail of twisted yarn up the back of the throw and drastically cuts down on the number of ends to sew in. Since the colour change is not done at the end of a row, the edges have very nice finished look, almost woven, with interesting colour detail. As an added bonus the back of the throw looks just as nice as the front.
