The perfect ‘pipi’ shell blanket for your baby.

This pattern works up quickly and is easy to memorise. Use a DK baby yarn so it becomes super-soft and snuggly.

Makes a bassinet sized blanket, although this pattern could easily be expanded to make larger sizes.

We used Merino Soft DK 8ply Baby Wool in Bobby Blue. It took approx 8x 50gm balls to make up.

Pattern uses US terms. Stitches used are chain, slip stitch, double crochet and single crochet. Starts with a ‘no chain foundation row’ of double crochet. Easy skill level.
