I named this beanie Kōyasan after a train station in Japan. The winding lines remind me of the railroad to get to Mt. Koya, and the dots inside the winding lines remind me of the trees I saw from the train. I used to work for a Japanese train company, where I would knit during my breaks. When I worked at remote local stations, I could knit during the day when there were few people. I hope you enjoy these beautiful lines and the beanie!
