Skill level: Intermediate. Color work sweater is worked from the bottom up in a single piece with raglan sleeves. The entire sweater is knit in the round.

Size: To fit bust size: Small (40”), Medium (42”), Large (44”), X-Large (46”), XX-Large(48”).
Sweater shown in photo is large.
Materials: 7 colors (1 black, 1 red, and 5 blue gradients) 100% pure Rohrspatz und Wollmeise (fingering weight merino wool) yarn - pattern requires approximately 550g-800g or 2000-3000 yards depending on size.

For size large (shown in photo) the following yarn quantities were used:
Black: 281 grams (1077 yards)
Red: 12 grams (46 yards)
Blue 1: 183 grams (701 yards)
Blue 2: 22 grams (85 yards)
Blue 3: 1 gram (4 yards)
Blue 4: 49 grams (188 yards)
Blue 5: 123 grams (472 yards)

Needles: US size 4 circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge). One set of US 4 double pointed needles.

Other: Stitch markers, stitch holders (or scrap of yarn), and yarn needle.

Gauge: 28 stitches and 32 rows worked in Stockinette = 4” x 4” square on size US 4 needles.
