This sweater was inspired by a conversation with my family about Christmas sweaters. They said all holiday knitwear is cheesy and totally uncool.
Now it happens that we live in Germany, where St. Nikolaus has a very dark side. He visits with a companion variously known as Knecht Ruprecht or Krampus. While well behaved children receive gingerbread and small gifts from St. Nikolaus, naughty kids will be whipped, eaten or taken straight to Hell by Krampus.
It seemed obvious to me that what my family really needed was the anti-Christmas sweater. So the Krampus sweater was born.

The Krampus Yoked Sweater is seamless, knitted top down, in the round, with a stranded yoke.
