I had a couple people ask me for these and decided to make a batch of them to take to a craft show in December. I just made up a pattern that I liked the look of and was fast.

I used the one-row buttonhole - I had never done one before but I found a good video reference (included in the pattern).

You will need:
U.S. size 8 knitting needles
1 darning needle
Dishtowel, cut in half and hemmed
A very small amount of worsted weight or Aran yarn. -I prefer cotton or cotton blend.
