Here is a gorgeous Country Cottage Wall Hanger or Mobile for you to knit! This pattern is very simple for a beginner to master, yet it looks stunning with colourful country yarns!

You may choose any DK or Aran yarn for this pattern, as the beauty of this pattern is that if you use different brands or mixes of yarns you will get different sizes of hearts for a real country/vintage feel. If you want all the hearts to be roughly the same size, choose yarn colours from the same type/brand of yarn.

There are endless possibilities for using this pattern when you choose different country cottage colours of yarn like Country Reds and Greens, Baby Pinks and Whites with assorted ribbons! You can change the look of a hearts just by choosing a different ribbon!

You could knit a single heart to hang on a door handle for example, or for a pram toy. Or you could knit hearts to hang on the wall using a 60cm x 9mm dowling rod as shown in the photo.
