The Kristin shawl is an ode to my grandmother Kristín who passed away last fall <3

Kristín is an asymmetric shawl, with lace and stitches knit through the back look to create texture.

The shawl starts with 3 cast on stitches and then knitted from charts only.

Needles: 4.0 mm 80 -100 cm needle.

Gauge.
10x10 cm:
16 stitches x 22 rounds of blocked lace.

Yarn.
I find that the pattern shows best in a single color or very lightly speckled yarn.
Color A:
650 meters of fingering yarn or 650 meters of lace weight and mohair together.
Color B:
80 meters of fingering yarn or 80 meters of lace weight and mohair together.

Final mesurements.
210-160-160 cm after wash and blocking.
