Kristine Cardigan is the brainchild of Kristine Dannenberg, who earned this opportunity to collaborate with Zanete as a prize for completing a challenging task during the La Grace Vest knitalong.
Her goal was to create a practical wardrobe staple transcending the ordinary cardigan. To achieve this, Kristine incorporated unique elements such as a high collar with buttons extending all the way up and using the wrong side of the half brioche stitch on the right side of the cardigan.
Adding to the creative process, she suggested using 3 strands of laceweight yarn held together, allowing knitters to experiment with marling and create uniquely coloured fabric.
And here is the result! This pattern is for a top-down, seamless, drop-shoulder cardigan that exudes timeless elegance with a trendy twist. Embrace style and ease with this delightful addition to your wardrobe!
