This pattern is a traditional Icelandic Wool sweater style I’m calling Krít. Krít means chalk in Icelandic and I thought it suited this pattern well. Also my parents had a horse named Krít and I always really liked the name, so why not use it for this pattern!

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round.

Gauge
10x10cm = 13 sts and 18 rows on 6mm needles.

Circular needles: 6mm and 5mm, 40 and 60/80 cm (depending on your size)
Double-pointed needles: 6mm and 5mm

Note that the pattern is knitted in the round, so it‘s good to knit the swatch in the round as well.

NOTE: I knit quite tightly so you may need to use a smaller needle size. I recommend knitting a swatch to test the tension.
This pattern has slim fit and a shorter body length, if you prefer a wider fit you should consider sizing.

I also want to mention that if this pattern does not have your size, please feel free to contact me and I’ll help you grade the right size for you.
