Krock Socks are designed to fit in plastic clogs 1 to 2 sizes bigger than your normal shoe size. This gives you the comfort of a knitted slipper with the grip of plastic clogs. Every part of this ensemble is washable, making it the ultimate house slipper. The liners also make the clogs more comfortable in all seasons, warmth in the winter and perspiration absorbing in the summer.

Krock socks are knit sole first from heel to toe, then the sides are picked up and knit in the round, the upper is knit from side to side and finally the cuff is knit around with short rows to make the front longer than the back. There are 2 strands to work in when you are finished.

Best in yarns that will not slip too much. Cotton seems to stay in place best, acrylics seems to slip more.

A word about width:
If your plastic clogs fit your foot exactly, that size is not a good candidate for a lined clog. There will be no room for your foot! I have searched for wide width plastic clogs and thus far, have discovered a camouflage patterned clog that comes in wide width. Great if you want camouflage, but if you’re hoping for other colors and styles, you will need to go up a size or so to have lined clogs. There are also clogs that are sold with a removable fabric liner that would workwith a knitted liner. If in doubt, wear a pair of heavy socks and try on clogs at the shoe store until you find your fit.

• This size fits my size 8 ½ wide width foot and my daughter’s size 10 narrow foot in a size 10 clog. Also fits Mens 6 - 8

Note- gauge is over garter stitch, so 8 rows = 4 ridges per inch.
