With a sassy garter ridge brim that folds up and an optional pom pom for the top, this two color geometric pattern is knitted seamlessly in the round with brioche tuck stitch. Super stretchy and an easy to remember pattern repeat means you will be ready to knit your coordinating mittens and cowl in a flash.

HAT FINISHED SIZE: 8” from cast-on edge to center top at beginning
of round, 21” circumference. Due to the brioche tuck stitch this is a super stretchy hat and it fit me (medium adult) and a male (who wears xlarge adult).

MITTENS:Dimensions: There are instructions for a small/medium size and a large/extra large size glove. Customization options for length are included. Due to the brioche tuck stitch these are super stretchy gloves.

GAUGE: 5 sts x 12 rows Garter Stitch in the round

YARN: Hat ~2 skeins Spincycle Versus, in contrasting colors.
Pattern sample shown here in Ebb & Flow (blue/grey) and Slow & Steady (grey/white). Your main color will use 34g and your contrast uses 16g, when knit to gauge. You will have enough to knit a second hat with the main and contrast colors reversed at gauge without a pompom, or matching fingerless gloves.
Mittens: 2 skeins Spincycle Versus, in contrasting colors. If you have made the hat, your remaining yarn can be used for your fingerless gloves. Shown here in Ebb & Flow (blue/grey) and Slow & Steady (grey/white). Your main color will use 26/31g and your contrast uses 10/26g, when knit to gauge.
