Kunstnart is an easy to knit pattern for you to display and wear your beautiful handspun, textured, bulky art yarns. It can also be knitted in one single colour, with or without art yarn.

The cardigan is knitted top-down using the art yarn to mimic the traditional Icelandic round yokes. The pattern also include a pattern of vertical stripes on the back.
The pattern is very versatile. If you want to make a single coloured version just omit the instructions for changing yarns or the vertical backstripes. You can even knit the body and the sleeves longer or shorter if you want since the cardigan is knit top down.

Make sure to knit a swatch before you start knitting, every knitter knits at his/her own gauge.
