This 96 stitch ethnographic mitten from the Eastern region of the District of Kurzeme, Latvia has an unusual cuff known in English as a diagonal squares cuff and uses three colors. The upper mitten is knit in two colors throughout. The graph for the thumb may be found on p 417.
