This 88 stitch ethnographic mitten from the northern region of the District of Kurzeme, Latvia is knit in two colors throughout with the exception a several rows that are knit with a single strand in the overwork band that separates the cuff from the upper mitten. The cuff has several sequences of knit and purl rows along with three half braids.

Changes to yarn or needles will change the gauge and therefore the finished size. Please check your gauge before knitting.
