Kushuttosocks
In the 90’s, long slouchy socks, called “Loose Socks (ルーズソックス)” in Japan, were very popular among Japanese teenage girls. I reinterpreted the iconic layered fabric into the fixed folds as a design feature for my new sock pattern ‘Kushutto socks’. Kushutto(くしゅっと) is a word that describes the state of crumpled fabric or paper that looks like a beautiful embellishment.
