Kuwae shawl
From the 21 of october to the 29 of october I offer 30% on the following patterns: Basilan, Duclair, Ikaria, Erakor and Kuwae. All the benefits of this promotion will be donated as a contribution to “An ear for Ninon” money pot.
Island, volcano, cataclysmic eruption, siege of Constantinople……there is a full story behind Kuwae shawl design! It is a story that merges an unknown remote island to the biggest civilizations of the past.
With this story in mind I have designed a red and beige triangular shawl. It is an asymmetric shawl whose knitting starts with a small tip and finishes with a narrow lace border. In between you will find garter stitches interrupted by few flower bands, lovely and easy to do.
