Kvill
Visit The Little Grey Girl to find the yarn used for this shawl.
Kvill is is the first in a series of patterns made with a sock set of yarn, in this case 100g + 20g of 4-ply yarn. Sock sets are great fun and lots of dyers offer them, but not everyone might want to make socks, so here is an alternative.
Kvill is a textured shawl using approx 400m of 4-ply yarn for the body and 80m of the edging. The pattern is written so it can easily be adapted should you have more/less yarn.
The body of the shawl is knitted in broken ribbing, which relaxed pulls the fabric together. The finished shawl is blocked and stretched out significantly to create a flowy fabric.
