The Kvitne Sweater is worked from the top down and has a circular yoke. First a folded neck edge is worked, then the short rows are worked to raise the back and create a nice fit. The yoke is worked in the round according to the Chart of a colorwork pattern using 2 colors. The body and sleeves are worked in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with a rib edge.

The Kvitne Sweater is designed to have approx. 9-14 cm 3.5-5.5 inches of positive ease.
The sizes XS (S; M; L) (XL: 2XL; 3XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 76-81,5 (86,5-91,5; 96,5-101,5; 106,5-112) (117-122; 127-132; 137-142) cm 30-32 (34-36; 38-40; 42-44) (46-48; 50-52; 54-56) inches.
The measurements for the finished garment are on the front page of the pattern. Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size to knit. For example, if you measure 98 cm 38½ inches around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size M. A size M sweater has a bust circumference of 110 cm 43¼ inches which in the given example would give you 12 cm 4¾ inches of positive ease.

In the instruction, there are three gauge options, you can choose any one and knit a sweater according to it.
Option І - 23,5 - 24 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm 4x4 in stockinette stitch, with 3.5 mm US4 needles, after blocking.
Option ІІ - 23,5 - 24 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm 4x4 in stockinette stitch, with 3.5 mm US4 needles, after blocking.
Option ІІІ - 23,5 - 24 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm 4x4 in stockinette stitch, with 3.5 mm US4 needles, after blocking.

Needles: circular needles № №2,75 US2, 3,25 US3 and №3,5 US4 or other size to obtain gauge.
