Celebrate this Kwanzaa holiday with our latest holiday helpers, the Kwanzaa Couple!

Both stand just eight inches tall. Because they fit easily in a child’s hand and comfortably in a pocket, they make perfect travel buddies for this holiday season. too!

The little lady is crocheted in the festive holiday colors of red, green, black and gold. Her traditional robe and headdress are all the rage! Her braided hair, embroidered jewelry and other features give our little lady personality. Even under the dress she sports brightly colored undergarments with a black belt and gold buckle! While the dress is removable, for smaller children, sew it in place at the shoulders.

The little man, while also crocheted in the festive holiday colors, sports a coat and hat. The the coat is removable, but for smaller children, sew it in place at the shoulders. Under the coat, a black belt and gold buckle adds even more detail! And don’t forget, pay attention to his embroidered facial features. They give him a super special personality!

Soft to the hand, both are crocheted in readily available sports weight acrylic yarn. When the play is over, just toss her into the washer and dryer for quick clean-ups!

Creative and imaginative, let our little Kwanzaa Couple help teach the values of family and creativity this holiday season. The dolls use very little yarn. I make mine from acrylic yarn so that they are completely washable and dryable and can stand up to child play! Requires red, gold (yellow), green, black and flesh color and inches of white for the eyes.
