This pattern is for creating cute, customizable knit dolls. Kwoodles are fun and quick to knit, and they are perfect for using up scraps of yarn you have in your stash. They also make great gifts.

This pattern includes instructions for:

• Two different body types

• Three different hairstyles

• Four optional add-ons: A hood, skirt, collar and beard

You can combine these instructions to create many different unique Kwoodles.

For the doll’s body, there are options to create different proportions for a traditionally “male” or “female” body shape. The body and limbs are knitted flat as one piece, and the head, hair, and other parts are each knitted flat as a separate piece.

The finished doll is about 10 cm (4 inches) tall.
