An easy cowl using knits and purls to create a bit of textural pattern. I based the texture pattern on the pattern from a pair of socks I designed in honour of my daughter, hence the name of the cowl. I admit I became a bit obsessed with the texture pattern after I made those socks and tried to put it into everything I knit for a while. Even though the pattern instructions refer to a bottom and top border, the cowl can be worn either way up. It’s up to you which way you want your arrows to point.
And I need to say a special thank you to my mom who agreed to model the cowl on one of the hottest days of the year.
