Knit in the round with plenty of plain knit rows, this is a good pattern for a first lace project (or just another opportunity to
show off a gorgeous skein of yarn).

The structure of the icord cast on and bind off frame a delicate flowery
lace and crosshatch stripe panels. The stockinette portions of the lace show off a variegated yarn to its’ fullest riot of colour, while the crosshatch panels mix it up just a wee bit.

The pattern is based on a 12 stitch repeat, so making a wider cowl can easily be achieved by simply adding multiples of 12 stitches.
