I have improvised this stitch pattern, and I am very pleased with how it worked out in a hat. In this color it reminds me of the deep blue sea, hence the name of the hat.

The pattern is written using American crochet terminology and contains both fully written out instructions and a chart.

FINISHED SIZE (adjustable)

22 1/4 (57cm) circumference at widest point
9 1/2” (24cm) height from base of brim to top-center of crown

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Basic crochet stitches (ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc)
• Slip-stitch crochet in BLO
