It is made using Patons Alpaca Blend, a worsted-weight yarn. For the multicolored version, you need 2 skeins each of 5 different colors; the solid one uses 3 (4, 5) skeins of one color. Instructions are written for sizes: S/M (L/XL, 2XL/3XL).
