For the Infinity Scarf, please add after Round 3:

Rnd 4: Ch 3,puff in next ch-3 space, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 3, 1 sl stitch in top of next puff stitch, ch 1. Repeat from * until last two stitches, Sl stitch in top of ch 3.*

Repeat Rnds 3 and 4 for 8 ½”, ending with a Rnd 4.

At the end of the directions of the next round, prior to the first finishing edge, add at the end of the line: Do not fasten off.

This infinity scarf/beret set was featured at the Deborah Norville Fashion Show at Vogue Knitting Live in September, 2011. The healthy 10” of lace in the scarf (an easily memorized two-row pattern) is offset by a somewhat structural edging. The extended circumference is offered as a way for each person to wear it in several different ways: either doubled or even tripled around the neck, or around the shoulders as a lush set of lace rings. The beret has single crochet around the face band, a healthy amount of lace in the cap and then ending with concentric single crochet circles. The lace stitch in these accessories provides both textural interest and warmth.

Done in Premier Yarns Fashion Jeweltones, the paillettes and saturated yarn color make a beautiful fabric with just the right amount of bling. The beret utilizes 200 yards (2 skeins) and the infinity scarf 900 yards (9 skeins).
