La Rambla from Barcelona is one of the most iconic places in the city, always full of people from all over the world that give life to it. Those lives that intersect are represented in the La Rambla shawl with a cable along the side of the shawl that ends in a simple but beautiful lace that represents the sea and its waves.
La Rambla shawl is an asymmetrical triangular shawl that is woven from the narrowest end to the widest end. From the beginning to section 6, one of the borders is an 8 sts cable, while the body of the shawl is formed on a knitted stockinette stitch base with some eyelets and a pair of striped sections. The last section is a simple lace combined with a purl stitch rows to give it volume. Finally, it ends in a picot edging in CC2 to give it a more fun point.

It is an ideal shawl to start in the world of cables and lace, since both are very simple, so it is perfect for adventurous beginners.

SIZES
One size. Finished measurements (aprox.): 82,68” (210cm) long and 25,60” (65cm) from top to bottom at deepest point after blocking.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 skein of SOCK MERINO by Feliz y Punto (100% Merino superwash 437yds 400m / 100g) of color BARCELONA NITS and 2 minis 87yd 80m/20g using color PINK MARTINI and MILORI.
Needles: US6/4mm (or the needle size you need to obtain gauge 24sts and 28rows in 4” in stockinette st after blocking) 24” (60cm) cable or straight needles.
Other: tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.

La Rambla de Barcelona es uno de los lugares más icónicos de la ciudad, siempre repleta de gente de todas partes del mundo que le dan vida. Esas vidas que se cruzan están representadas en el La Rambla Shawl. Es un chal de triangular asimétrico que se teje desde una punta hasta el extremo más ancho. Desde el principio hasta la sección 6 uno de los bordes es una trenza de 8 puntos mientras que el cuerpo del chal se forma en una base de punto jersey con algunos agujeritos y un par de secciones de rayas. La última sección es un calado sencillo combinado con punto jersey del revés para darle volumen. Finalmente termina en un cierre picot en CC2 para darle un punto más divertido. Puedes seguir las instrucciones escritas o por gráfico (recuerda leer las anotaciones que hay antes de empezar a tejer cada gráfico).

Es un chal ideal para iniciarse en el mundo de las trenzas y el calado, ya que ambos son muy sencillos, así que es perfecto para principiantes aventureras.

Un tamaño. Medidas terminado (aprox.): 210cm de lado a lado y 65cm en el punto más ancho (después de bloquear).

Lana: Feliz y Punto Sock Merino: 100% merino superwash 400m/100g.
• 1 madeja del color principal (CP) BARCELONA NITS (1 madeja)
• 1 mini (80m/20g) del color de contraste 1 (CC1) PINK MARTINI
• 1 mini (80m/20g) del color de contraste 2 (CC2) MILORI
Agujas: circulares o rectas para tejer en plano, de 4mm (o el tamaño necesario para obtener 24 puntos en 28 pasadas en 10cm en punto jersey después de bloquear).
Otros: aguja lanera, bases para bloquear y alfileres.
