Labyrinth Beanie
The first English, puzzle-like hedge maze featuring dead ends and tall hedges was planted during the reign of King William III of England. There is something both secretive and romantic about the hedge mazes outside of palaces. I have always envisioned them as a rendezvous point between lovers or a place for sharing secret messages absent the eyes of onlookers. Journey with me through the twists and turns of the Labyrinth Beanie to celebrate the beautiful work of garden sculptors.
