sweater is knit beginning at the neck edge

Materials:
2 – 2.5oz Worsted Weight Yarn
Size US 5 and US size 6 needles, circular works best, only to accommodate the number of sts, note pattern is not knit in the round
2 stitch holders
3 – ½”buttons ( if you choose to add buttonholes)

Gauge: 5 sts & 8 rows= 1” in stk st in the yoke
