Lace and Sails Scarf
I enjoy playing with new lace patterns in small projects, like scarves. It gives me the opportunity to sample the pattern, different yarns and needle sizes. That is what happened here.
Combination of 2 easy lace patterns and wonderful yarn makes for a great little scarf. Add a colorway yarn or gradate between 2 different colorway yarns, create your own style.
Solid colors always do show off you stitch work better. Different tastes for different people.
Materials needed:
Fingering Weight yarn, 500 yd. Such as Madelinetosh
Tosh Merino Light.
#5, 3.75 mm Knitting Needle.
2 markers.
Cable needle.
Pattern is entirely in both row by row written and charted instruction. Novice lace knitters should have no problem.
Length and width can easily be adjusted through the pattern repeats.
Finished size blocked: 7 1/2” by 73”. Different yarns and needle sized will yield unique measurements.
